dining on the holiday

thought i'd read somewhere some ships seat you at next available table with other guests. read so much about cruises lately, may have just confused it with another cruise line.

 

Yeah sometime all the information on these boards can overload the brain-that is Norweigian Cruise Line that has the open seating. I prefer the way Carnival does it.

You're in for a treat. Food and service were excellent on the Holiday last August...much, much better than on the Liberty in November. Smaller ship and not as fancy but much better in ways that count. Just MHO.

Pink - I think what you've read may be about breakfast and lunch in the dining room. Yes, it's different from the assigned seating for dinner. The waiter will show you to a table with others until that table is filled. (However, if you ask nicely, he'll give you a table by yourselves.):)
