Also is there grace period if you cant make final payment?

No grace period, we lost a great cabin once way back when DW was in charge, they immediately sold it to someone else...

The Dood's correct. When it's due, it's expected. Better start saving those pennies!:)

I have seen the Grace Period extended many times, it really depends on how well the ship is selling. If its a sold out cruise, then yes they can sell your cabin and keep your deposit, but if the cruise has tons of cabins available, it doesn't make sense for them to cancel you.

 

Yet, I wouldnt count on the gracious nature of Carnival in the case.
