Santorini, Greece-Hot Springs Tour

Recommended Posts

My husband and I were in Mykonos this last July. We did the tour to Delos. We loved it, but it was very windy. After the Delos tour we walked around Mykonos, visited the windmills, and had a wonderful dinner in the Little Venice area of Mykonos while watching the sunset. In

Santorini we visited Oia and a winery, so we didn't do the hot springs tour, but it sounds like fun.

That sounds kind of like what we did. I was a bit disappointed in the winery but loved everything else! The winery was mainly a stop in hopes that you would buy....as opposed to a great tour of a winery we did once in Corsica.

Yes, I was also disappointed in the winery. Living in California, we have access to wonderful wineries in Napa Valley and Temecula. We love learning how each winery works, and we were excited to see one in the Greek Islands. Sadly disappointing, but we loved Oia, so I guess the tour was worth it.

I loved the hot springs tour. Visiting the volcanic island and then cruisng over for a dip in the hot springs was absolutely relaxing and divine. The captain of the boat that took us to the hot springs was really nice, and let us jump off the bow of the boat into the water if we wanted. It was fairly rocky, but I went barefoot and was fine in the water.

The tour also included tickets to ride the donkeys up the cliffside in Santorini. This is absolutely amazing and you have to do it if you are even remotely interesed.

Santorini is my favorite port, and this was one of my favorite excursions.

Enjoy!
