KenC Posted April 21, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2004 If she has made up the time after facing not one but two severe Atlantic storms and proved her superior strength and seaworthiness, I wonder if she will get any credit . You can bet your bottom dollar that if she arrives late then the knives will be out KenC Sea Princess I - 11/88 S.China Sea QE2 - 07/89 France Star Princess I - 11/89 W.Caribbean Vistafjord - 06/90 W.Mediterranean Ausonia - 07/98 E.Mediterranean Golden Princess II - 12/01 E.Caribbean Norwegian Sun - 12/01 S.Caribbean Brilliance of the Seas - 09/02 Transatlantic Grandeur of the Seas - 12/02 W.Caribbean Summit - 2/03 S.Caribbean Zuiderdam - 9/03 E.Caribbean Caronia - 11/03 Weekend Party Queen Mary 2 - 01/04 The Maiden Voyage Jewel of the Seas - 05/04 Norway Millenium - 11/04 E.Caribbean Island Princess - 01/05 Hawaii
CASHIPman Posted April 21, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 21, 2004 Ken... I remember Stephen Payne's presentation on the maiden voyage when he said that the QM2 should be able to always arrive on time in NY/SOU regardless of enroute weather because of her speed and capabilities. I'm glad that he's being proven correct...so far! Craig

cusyl Posted April 21, 2004 #8 Share Posted April 21, 2004 There are at least 3 webcams onboard, but as far as I know they are not hooked up to a satellite for transmission. I wondered if the NYC Circle Line live web cam would show it...anyone know? A bad day at sea is better than a good day at work 26 cruises since 1964 -Proud member of O.A.T.C.
