dock or tender?

I am looking at my RCI itinerary and it says the Grandeur docks at GC on May 1. I read on these boards that ALL ships tender? Can anyone clarify?

You will tender in to Geroge Town. I think there are plans for a cruise ship dock in the future, but until then, everyone has to tender. :)

Yup, no pier large enough (yet) (we were just there March 21).

 

All cruise ships tender. But the tender system works fairly well...just be ready for a wait in line to get back, if you wait until the last two hours or so to get back on board.
