Baltic Ports "Must See"

[Gr8 2 cruise]

We will be on the Prisdendamm in July and I was wondering if anyone has done the following itinerary and would share the "must sees" or "don't miss" for the various ports? We have booked private tours for St. Petersburg and Gdansk.

 

Any assistance you provide will be appreciated.

In Tallinn get of the ship early and do a walking tour. It was a beautiful, quiet town and I enjoyed going 10-15 minutes without seeing another person or hearing anything except the sound of a handmade broom sweeping the sidewalk. I went back to the ship for lunch then back to town again, I wish I didn't go back out. It was beautiful and magical in the morning. In the afternoon it was a small town invaded by cruise ship passengers.

 

Buy the Rick Steves' Scandinavia book. It has fantastic info on most of your ports.
