Question about new bev. policy

I've always called Well Wishers and had a case of beer delivered to my room. It's less than Carnival, but more than carry on. Do you think that will be denied also?:confused:

Carnival stopped allowing alcohol being sent to your cabin from an outside company last year. We were one of the last ones (so wellwishers told us) that they allowed. Thought I would try again this year just to check and about a month ago I called 2 different companies and was told by both that Carnival does not allow it. Either buy on the ship or try to smuggle. I also sent a bon voyage gift of Bud w/ cooler, hat and mugs. True, it is only 4 beers, but....better than none.
