state of megans bay?

I just read a recent cruise review that stated megans bay was dirty and disappointing due to a recent storm. Any other recent reports? is there a better alternative?

I *think* you had read my post on another board but misunderstood me ;-)

We were previously in St. Thomas(about 3 yrs ago) and that is when the sand had been dirty, not very clean looking, sort of washed up and yes we were disappointed, we went to Coki this time as my DH wanted to snorkel so can't speak personally of what is looked like when we were in STT last week.

Well I was extremly disappointed in Magen's Bay. I was there on 7/27/04 and found it depressing. Cigarette butts, bandaids, and other trash littered the beach. I even found a small vial for nitroglycerin. Might have been an off day, but I will check out other beaches before I go back again.
