myboysnaa Posted April 5, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 5, 2007 Hi, Just wondering, this will be our first time with a balcony and we are wondering about getting beverages to our room? Do they do a bucket of drinks or beers? Do they offer refrig. in balcony rooms or can you rent one? Would you need to do it in advance? Thanks :)
tomko2 Posted April 5, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2007 We have always had a fridge in our balcony rooms however the fridge is not overly cold. Buckets of beer are available for sale (although sometimes they are not available later in the cruise maybe they run low on buckets). You will also have an ice bucket in your cabin to keep a couple beer cold.
gerif Posted April 5, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2007 You can get a bucket of beer. The in-room refrigerators are really just small "coolers" - similar to what you find in most hotel rooms. They keep things cool but not really cold. Just ask your room steward for a large ice bucket or bring a soft sided cooler of your own and ask to have them kept filled with ice. golfer1966 Posted April 5, 2007 #5 Share Posted April 5, 2007 to bring one of the little RCI gargabe cans filled with ice and we just kept a few beers in there at a time and they were very cold then. Just an idea.....
KillaFee Posted April 5, 2007 #6 Share Posted April 5, 2007 OMG, you will have so much fun with your balcony. This past February on the Serenade was my first balcony and there is truly nothing like chillin on your balcony after ordering a bucket of beer and a pizza from room service as the ship sails away from port. Teehee. Have fun! Laura
