When do cruise docs arrive?

Recommended Posts

I booked Grandeur's 4/28 sailing out of New Orleans 2+ months ago through Expedia. I've noticed several have received their docs already. When do docs generally arrive? Is 3 weeks before the cruise considered late?

No, it's not late at all. Check with expedia, they may have RCCL issue edocs instead of the hard copy ones. Call expedia tomorrow and see where they are, but many times you won't get them until a couple of weeks before sailing.

In the meantime, be sure you have gone online and completed the online registration and received your Set Sail pass. That's all you really need (plus your identifying documents and credit card for the shipboard account) to board.

For our cruise on the Jewel, (we are heading to the airport in 10 minutes), we recieved our documents 2 months ago. On previous cruises we have recieved them up to 1 week before the cruise. Don't worry, you'll get them.
