a Canadian renting a car in Skagway?

are there any Canadians out there, that have had success in driving their rental car into the Yukon. I have a car rented in Skagway, but noticed when I was in the process of renting a car in another location that travel to Canada in a rental car was not possible by a Canadian,... maybe I need to cancel my rental and take a tour??

No you will NOT be allowed entry into Canada- BC at the border. As a suggestion, go to your roll call and perhaps see if you can hook up with some US citizens to go with?? You may as well cancel your car rental and go with a tour otherwise if Yukon is a priority.
