RCCL Guy sails NCL Pearl

NCL usually sets aside one of their two free main dining rooms for those who wish to dress up on their cruise. You can also request the same dining time, room, and waitstaff if you wish. In all the other restaurants, fee and free, you will see people dressed in everything from ball gowns and tuxedoes to shorts and flip flops. Most know what is appropriate for each venue.;) This is freestyle-eat where you want, when you want, with whom you want, wearing what you want! (within reason:eek: !)

We looked at the Pearl recently for the 9 day itinerary as the ports were very appealing to us.

 

Which itinerary did you cruise, and what do you think?

I actually felt that more people were dressed up on the Optional Formal night on NCL than were on RCL...!

A good review - I also bemoan the lack of dining choices on RCL and I too HATE fixed time dining!
