:confused: I see banana boat rides as an option at Princess Cays. Can somebody tell me what a banana boat is and the possible appeal.?Thanks for your help.

I don't think they have to go really fast. We didn't do the banana boat ride, I found that photo using google's image search. I'm pretty sure my kids would have enjoyed it and DW would not have enjoyed it. I would have had a good time. I think if you like white water rafting, you'd enjoy it too.

The banana boat is pulled like a tube or skier, for about $8-10 you get a 5 or so minute ride, I think it is worth is, last time we all fell off out in the ocean, it was fun.

Everytime I see a banana boat all I can think of is that scene in Jaws the revenge when a kid gets eaten off the back! I think that movie was set in the bahamas as well...
