m steve Posted April 23, 2007 #26 Share Posted April 23, 2007 is Lemoncello di Capri. I think that a friend brought it to me from Italy but there are several brands imported into the states. There is also Orangcello and a tangerine based one. All are good. It's like lemonade for adults w/o all that water.
chrysalis Posted April 23, 2007 #27 Share Posted April 23, 2007 I'm located in West Michigan, along the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline. I think that many cruisers would be surprised by the great ports along this shoreline. THAT'S why we have our own boat, so we can cruise at our leisure. You ever cruise up to the "North Channel"? sjbdtz Posted April 23, 2007 #28 Share Posted April 23, 2007 "They call it Limoncello" Us oldtimers can hear Donovan singing this lyric. Can you? Quite rightly.
Carolyn R Posted April 23, 2007 #29 Share Posted April 23, 2007 I have Caravello Limoncello that is excellent, much better than then the homemade on the Crown. I also have an unopened bottle of the Limoncello di Capri. We shall see what the difference is if any. I love it! I also bought Caravello Orangecello, not crazy about it.
