Hiking around Talkeetna/McKinley Princess

Can anyone recommed any hikes in or arund the Talkeetna/McKinley Princess area? I know by staying at the McKinley Princess that we will be bordering Denali State Park.

 

Princess had offered a 6-8 hour hike thru the state park but it seems as if they've cancelled that particular tour.

The trail around this lodge is pretty tame. You have about the same amount of walking from lodge to lodge. :) Are there any Beyer's Lake touring/kayaking?? A couple nice trails there, and a short walk from there to the Vet's memorial. Farther for those with their own transportation is Little Coal Creek trail, really good. :)
