Explorer - Questions!!

We sailed Explorer for the 9 Nt. Caribbean about 3 years ago and absolutely LOVED it! We're thinking of booking for July for the 5 night (leaving kids at home and can't go for 9 nts - I wish!).

 

How has the Explorer changed at all? Have there been any upgrades/renovations? The ship was in great condition when we went but I'd hate to get on it and notice the 3 years' abuse since our last trip?

 

Any recent Explorer cruisers? What were your impressions??

All brand new bedding was installed last fall. We did the 5 day to Bermuda in Sept and it was a beautiful ship and a wonderful cruise. Check out the picture link in my signature.

Oh you will see some wear and tear that wasnt there before. But somewhere I read she is due for a dry docking. Not sure if that was real or not. I will be in the same boat as you are next week. Was on Explorer 3 years ago and going next week. Ill repost if I really notice anything. If its petty stuff, like a stain on a carpet or something like that, I wont notice it. I see it but it never registers as it has no impact on my cruise. But if service has deteriorated, that I will notice.
