Iris5383 Posted April 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 14, 2007 I have read on the customer comment area of some travel sites that the Seattle Sheraton downtown had construction going on last fall. Can anyone tell me if they have completed construction? Thanks!
momthecruisedirector Posted April 15, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 15, 2007 We just walked past the hotel 20 minutes ago and it's still under construction. The gates are up front and valet parking is on the side of the hotel on Pike.
IvesGrandmama Posted April 15, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 15, 2007 would you stay there? I am afraid I have booked this hotel for May and it won't be very nice. I booked thur Hotwire. What's your opinion Janie
momthecruisedirector Posted April 16, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 16, 2007 I would stay there in a heart beat. It's in the heart of things, 7 blocks from the Pike Place Market, 2 blocks from the monorail to take you to the Seattle Center, a block or so from the flagship Nordstroms store, great restaurants, great shopping..... sharonkrn Posted July 19, 2007 #5 Share Posted July 19, 2007 We are staying at the Sheraton in Sept. Has the construction been completed?
go-gos Posted July 20, 2007 #6 Share Posted July 20, 2007 We stayed at the Seattle Sheraton Downtown from June 28- 30, 2007. The renovations/construction seemed complete except for tile flooring in front of one elevator (five others available). The lobby is beautiful. Booked through Hotwire for $109/nt. Called the hotel a day prior to arrival and upgraded our room to their "Club Level" for $30/nt. more, which included breakfast and evening appetizers. We stayed on the 32nd floor with great city views. Kids loved the heated pool on the 35th floor. We did not rent a car as the hotel is in an excellent location to all the attractions. Loved it! sharonkrn Posted July 21, 2007 #7 Share Posted July 21, 2007 Thank you go-gos for your reply. We got this hotel off Priceline for $102. Also booked for the in-laws. After our airline resevations got messed up, I would hate for this hotel to be a mess too. Now I won't worry any more. Thanks Again!
