Good morning, gang! I have finally posted my pics from our cruise to Cozumel & Calica on the Holiday from last week. I hope you will pardon the 'copy and paste' from an e-mail I sent to family and friends this morning. However, it does contain the navigational instructions for the galleries.

I hope you enjoy them!

"Okay, everyone ... here's the pics from our cruise! I have 5 subgalleries within the main gallery, so I'll list them separately here. Within each subgallery are numerous thumbnails ... just click on the first one to open the full-size image and then click 'Next' in the upper right corner when you are ready to go to the next image. When you finish a subgallery, click on the 'Mexican Cruise' at the top of the page and repeat the process until you have gone through all of them.

Enjoy!"

bamaphotopro, thanks for posting your pictures. We have thought about going on the holiday since it leaves from Mobile. Was the port of Mobile easy to check in?

Hi!

From my very limited experience, I think the embarkation process went about as smoothly as it could have. From the time we arrived until we actually set foot on the ship was about an hour, but we got there as early as possible ... and from the looks of it, most everyone else did, too. If I had it to do over again (and I plan to ASAP), I would wait and board between 12:30 & 1:30 pm after the initial rush. Of course if you do that, then you're going to have to park on a higher level than we did (Level 2).

Oh ... and keep your carry on to a minimum. I carried on a 24-pack of bottled water in addition to a shoulder bag and garment bag. For someone who had quad bypass surgery 18 months ago, that was stretching it a bit. LOL!! But I made it okay, thank God!

Hope that helps! Glad you enjoyed the pics!

Wow, thanks for sharing. It brought back memories of when I went to Talum. I don't thing the Iguanas I saw were quite THAT big though!

We saw 2 or 3 that size, but the vast majority of them were MUCH smaller ... maybe a foot or less in length. Otherwise my wife would have been back on the bus in no time!

:D

Thanks for sharing those great pics!! Holiday was my very first cruise and seeing your photos reminded me again of what a wonderful time we had!

Thanks for looking! Glad you enjoyed them!

:)

Next time, I am taking my primary camera (Minolta 7D) and several of my lenses. I took my backup camera (old Minolta A1) this time in fear of one of my 7Ds being lost or stolen.

Great Pics, you are right the Mobile port is one of the easiest ports to sail out of and return to. You can't ask for easier parking than using the deck, on our October cruise out of Mobile, we arrived at 10:45 and got to park on level 2 by the elevator. We were on the ship with a "funship" special in hand by 11:30.:D
