I got them! Ordered them last Thursday night and here they are! The compact binoculars look decent enough and well made. The best of all, it is free. :) :) The grandkids are coming over for dinner after school tonight. I think they will be thrilled (espeically the older one who gets the SUMMIT;) )

just recieved my zen-rays on the justformom coupon.ordered on saturday and they came today,amazing for the post office to get from oregon to georgia in two days.the second pair is a compact 10x25 fully coated,not fully multi coated,but they viewing is quite good and are considerably lighter than the summits. they are not waterproof but should do well. alittle harder to hold still because of the size.

Well the binoculars showed up as promised. Boy are they small! I knew they were compact and I did check the dimensions, but when I took them out of the box, they looked tiny!

 

In a test here at home, I was able to see objects half a mile away very clearly. As for eye fatigue, I can see where that could be a problem. Since I don't expect to use them too much after the cruise except for an occasional baseball game, I'm happy with the purchase.

 

 

I got mine today, very impressed with them! Thank god something was cheap for this cruise. I am up to almost 4000$ just in excursions. :eek:
