We will be in St. Thomas on 5/22 with RCI and want to do some snorkeling. Any suggestions as to where to snorkel or what excursions to take would be greatly appreciated. Want to get it booked before they run out. Thanks.

Take a taxi to Coki Beach, about $18 one way. You can snorkel there, have lunch, drinks, rent a lounge chair and they have a restroom with an outdoor shower to rinse off the salt water. Nice beach and a nice day for little money.

besides Coki and St. John the ship should have excursions called 'buck island snorkel'.. usually private sailboats that take approx. 6 pax and take you to buck island to snorkel and provide lunch.. its a great excursion!!.. with excellent snorkeling

We had planned to do Coki, but were told it was usually crowded...so we were told to try Sapphire....It was awesome! We paid very little for the taxi, and brought our own gear....so it was basically free snorkeling.

The kids loved it, because you go straight from the beach....there are also cool iguanas in the trees at the beach...they were the size of cats! Scared me to death when the first one came down the tree!

Anyway, this beach was the highlight of our last cruise....the beach was nice, not crowded, and the reef was great!
