martinsfo Posted April 24, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2007 I have been to La Paz. If you like touristy, busy cities, this is not the place for you. It is a charming, laid back city, the commercial and governmental center for the Baja Sur state. The beaches are out of town, accessable via very inexpensive taxis. The port is about 1.2 hour north of the city. I really liked this port.
Hobie Posted April 24, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 24, 2007 Melissa, I'm sorry that I don't have an answer to your question. I just know that I have been interested in cruise to LaPaz for quite sometime. What are the dates/ship for the HAL 10 night cruise? Does it leave from San Diego or L.A. That sounds like a nice itinerary because it includes Sea of Cortez ports and Baja ports. Thanks for the info. Hobie
