Grand Turk-Great Fun

We were in Grand Turk on Wednesday, April 25th, from the Elation. We took a taxi to Cockburn Town ($5 each person) to explore the town and visit the Turks Museum.

The first thing that hits you about Grand Turk is the incredible colors of the sea in the shallower areas. Gorgeous. The island is only 7miles x 2miles, so you can see lots of it in a short time.

After town, we went to Margaritaville for a Cheeseburger in Paradise, then a bit later for a swim in their fantastic pool. It was in the upper 80's that day, so we progressed to the ocean at the cruise port for a long swim.

We did see a few wild horses wandering around this interesting island. Grand Turk is only modernized at the cruise port- not elsewhere, but it is a dive port-so lots of water sports.
