Hawaii - Tahiti

We are considering the Hawaii/Tahitti 30 day cruise on Princess. We have not cruised with Princess before. You start in Hawaii and take in most of the islands there. You go to Tahiti, Samoa, New Zealand and end up in Australia.

Has anyone done this itinerary?

Would you do it again?

If so, please let us know the pros and cons and if you really enjoyed it.

We cruised on the Star Princess from LA to Sydney last November. Lovely cruise, tons of ports that are all so very different. Our cruise was for 25 days and visited the Islands of Hawaii, Bora Bora, Moorea, Papeete, Samoa, Fiji, several ports in New Zealand and then on to Sydney. I loved every minute of it. Highly recommed it to anyone that enjoys sea days and visiting so many different cultures.

If you get a chance, plan a few extra days in Sydney if that is your final destination, there is never enough time to see everything. We stayed with friends for the week after our cruise, but the time before we stayed at the InterContinental and can recomend this hotel. Lovely hotel and close to the harbour and the ferrys.

Would definitely do it again if I had the chance, well worth the price you pay for such a wonderful cruise experience.

We're leaving on the Pacific Princess from Honolulu on Aug. 17th for 36 days. Not your exact itinerary, but Hawaii and Tahiti will be. We continue through SA back to Ft. Lauderdale. I intend to post from the ship, so you can read about it on the Roll Call board for topic heading Papeete to Ft. Lauderdale 24 days. Should be easy to find; has 5 stars adjacent to it.
