Only certain Princess ships can do excursion

We are booked on the Emerald for a Caribbean in January 2008. When I was on the Princess web site under excursions some of them were listed as "for Sun AND Crown Princess ships only". Why would this be? Is it because the Emerald is new and they have not added her yet? Thanks for any info

Maybe the provider has other commitments with other ships / cruise lines the day the Emeral is in port.

Did you compare the port times?

 

Sometimes you see this with the times a ship is in port. If it is a shorter stop there might not be enough time for an excursion.

When I have seen this in Alaska - it is due to the times the ships are in port.

Yes, that's usually the reason. Some tours are available on certain sailings only.
