cancellling a cruise and rebooking on board

Recommended Posts

has anyone ever booked a cruise and then cancelled that future cruise and rebooked while on board another cruise to get the onboard credit? does that make sense? we have voyager in november and want to book jewel transatlantic for september 2008. i would like to book now so i can try to get the same cabin we had last year, but the onboard credit would be nice too. do they let you do that? it would be before final payment is due, so there wouldn't be a penalty.

Sure you cancel anytime before final payment and rebook onboard,BUT make sure the price hasnt increased more than the OBC you'll get .........wouldnt be worth it then..

Hopefully you booked this cruise directly with rccl. If you booked with a ta you wouldn't be able to do such from what other posters have mentioned when questioning how to make cancellations or changes.
HUH??

Maybe some online TAs that charge a fee to do so,but most TAs do not(and should not) charge a fee.......BUT even with a fee,one can change or cancel their booking before final payment..
