Lanky Lad Posted May 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2007 My friend is booked in a MI grade cabin on QE2, but because he is diabetic, he needs a fridge to keep his insulin in. I know MI grade cabins do not have a fridge. Does anyone know what the arrangements are for Diabetics onboard? Does Cunard provide a fridge? GAV BOY Posted May 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 6, 2007 My friend is booked in a MI grade cabin on QE2, but because he is diabetic, he needs a fridge to keep his insulin in. I know MI grade cabins do not have a fridge. Does anyone know what the arrangements are for Diabetics onboard? Does Cunard provide a fridge? My Dad is Diabetic and we were on a cruise recently in a cabin with no fridge, my Dad had the same problem. We called room service and they brought us a mini-fridge we could plug in ,we used it for drinks as well , good hey ! :D Maybe Cunard can do the same ! :) regards, Gavin
Lanky Lad Posted May 6, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted May 6, 2007 Thanks Gavin, hopefully they will. There must be a system in place, after all, he will not be the first Diabetic onboard.
mufi Posted May 7, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 7, 2007 I have used the fridge in the medical centre, though am sure they will provide a fridge if you ask, (before sailing) David.
