foxsportsmom Posted August 9, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2004 I want to settle my onboard account at the end of the cruise with cash. Is this possible? How much of a deposit will Holland require. Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
Krazy Kruizers Posted August 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 9, 2004 :) You don't need a desposit. You can pay off the balance in cash at the end of the cruise - no problem. If you want to pay off your balance every couple of days just to keep tack of things, that is also all right. :)
Esme Posted August 9, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 9, 2004 You will still have to give them an imprint of your credit card at the beginning of the cruise. Don't wait until the end of the cruise as the lines could be long. Go down the night before, pay off the account in cash or Travellers Cheques and then anything you spend after that would be put on your CC. So much easier. foxsportsmom Posted August 9, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted August 9, 2004 Great idea ESME. That makes sense. We will probably pay every couple of days. Thanks.
Navy_Chief Posted August 9, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 9, 2004 Heck why not give them some Travellers Cheques right up front?:D
jhannah Posted August 9, 2004 #7 Share Posted August 9, 2004 Another idea is to get one of the pre-funded cards. Amex advertises one all the time now. Like traveler's checks, but in a credit card. Same as cash, because you've already funded the card.
