I called Stan today at Celebrity and he was very helpful in getting us two tables together for our up coming Alaska cruise on the Mercury.

I told him he has been written about on Cruise Critic and he said he knew that and was glad he could help.

I would like to talk to Stan and make sure that all nine of us in our group are sitting together.

 

On our last cruise we were a group of 32 on a family reunion, and had 4 tables. Celebrity got three of the four table requested correct, but the fourth table was not correct. I spoke to the matire'd and he assured me that Celebrity did not make the mistake. Well I proved them wrong when I showed them the paper I sent to our TA with everyone seated at the correct table. The matire'd apologized and said the mistake would be taken care of and those guests on the fourth table would receive new cards.

 

The next night when we went to dinner, we felt sorry for the people who sat there with our group. They were not given any news of the change. I had to go and speak to the assistant matire'd in their behalf and found the correct table for them. Everything turned out just fine. Their little girl was very happy to sit with another child instead of my teenage nephew.

 

So, can I talk to Stan?

Hi, :) glad I could help. I would suggest you go see the Maitr'd

anyway. They are outside the dining room starting about 12:30 on

the day you sail.

Make sure everything is as you requested. Stan was helpful

for me as well but somehow the communication didn't make

it correctly to the ship.

Everything ended up wonderfully, but I still suggest you

go see them.

 

San, sure you can call him and give him your request. It is supposed

to get passed on to the ship.

As I said, go see the Maitr'd after you board too.
