Electronic Bingo

Has anyone seen these devices? I got my first glimpse on NCL. Basically you dont play bingo, the hand held device does. You simply punch in the code off of your paper card and the thing plays for you. I think it takes the fun out of it and the reduces the advantage for savvy bingo players.

I used one on the Marco Polo this past January. I only did it because you got like 48 cards for just $40 with all these extra chances to win the free cruise. I didn't win anything, but the person who did win that game was playing on one of the electronic games.

 

The only thing is you have so many cards you don't have time to check them all. The game keeps track of your best card at any time, so you don't have to worry about calling out Bingo, it does it for you.
