cruisebore Posted May 10, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2007 Catalina island is of La Romana in the Dominican Republic. Not a lot there other than a great beach, water sports and the BBQ arranged by your cruise line. The tender takes about 12 minutes from the ship Hope this helps Cb
tonygold Posted May 15, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 15, 2007 catalina island is a great day out - doing nothing. private island off dominican republic. cruise staff disembark really early to prepare beach area and catering. good chill out day, great beach, bbq food and a good floor show presented by 'locals'. enjoy!!!!!!!!!! Druke I Posted May 15, 2007 #6 Share Posted May 15, 2007 That is Santa Catalina Island, although most do call it Catalina. Interesting little place - but very touristy.
