LSAUNDER Posted May 11, 2007 #1 Share Posted May 11, 2007 Question-Is there a difference in the room and balcony size on the mariner of the seas between these 2 rooms, it looks it on the plans. does anyone know which is bigger-room/balcony. Please let me know. Have to reserve within 48 hours. Thank You
mitaxi Posted May 11, 2007 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2007 I have been in 9614..that being said I would choose 9618, reason is that is not an adjoining JS and it is more center "hump" also, I believe the two would be the same in size and each gains just a little balcony due to the hump.. cb at sea Posted May 11, 2007 #3 Share Posted May 11, 2007 The rooms are exactly the same size--the balconies may be a bit different, due to the curvature of the "hump". Not enough to make a huge difference! When you get on the ship, you'll notice that the hallway curves to fit the hump, keeping all of the rooms in a catagory the same. (Actually, they're all pre-fab units, slid into place!) Pick the non-connecting room.
fla-red Posted May 11, 2007 #4 Share Posted May 11, 2007 We were in 9318 across the way and found it to be great. It was pretty much in the middle of the hump. Could see front to back of ship.
