hey all,

Me and my husband are cruising for the first time to alaska this may end.. It will be great help if u can add some information on

1. where is the better kayaking for 4-5 hrs- mendenhall glacier, juneau or resurrection bay, seward ??

2. we need transportation from seward to anchorage.. which is better option -

cruise transfer viewing portage glacier or spending some time in seward and then taking evening coastal train

Any input will be great help. Thanks

Kayaking is good all over Alaska, go where you have the most time. AND definately- consider taking advantage and seeing some of Seward- take the 6pm train. My top choice is a Kenai Fjords boat tour, fits in nicely with the train if of interest.
