Any info on the Galaxy Drydock?

Does anyone know why Galaxy would need 4 weeks in drydock unless it is going in for major cosmetic rehab? That's kind of exciting to me! I've gotten to like 60,000 ton ships more than the "mid-size" 90k tons.

I also like what appears to have happened to the Century.

We are looking at booking an 08 med cruise on Galaxy. We were last on a SS on INFINITY to Alaska 14 night RT. We've since moved over to HAL for a few cruises. I'd really like to come back to Celebrity for a bit.

Thanks for any info!

No firm information at all. Indeed, all we know for certain is that there's a gap in her schedule from late April to early June next year - nothing official has been said as to what's happening to her during the period, not even that she is having a refit.

My guess is that either an announcement will be made before the brochures are published for next year, or additional cruises will be scheduled to fill in the gap.

So like you, we are all waiting & watching.....
