airport to rome transfer

Pleeze accept my apologeees for this is probably an oft answered question-- but I cant find the answer under old threads about the way to get from airport to our hotel in Rome. should I go to the airport site and check or can someone tell me what they did? Do I need to book ahead or ask for ground transportation on arrival? thanks for you patience.

When we have arrived into Rome each time by air from home, we just get a taxi at the airport to take us to our hotel. It is no different from anywhere else in the world.

We used Roma Shuttle from the Rome airport to our hotel and then again from our hotel to the port. We just returned from th Insignia April 28th cruise They were prompt, reliable and the least expensive. Their web site is romashuttle.com.
