cruise pup Posted August 10, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2004 Just saw this wonderful show last night on PBS (WNJN in New Jersey) about killer whales in British Columbia. What made it so interesting was the underwater cameras. As most of us know who've already been on an Alaska cruise or any place orca are spotted, they really aren't on the surface a lot. You usually only get to see the blow whole, dorsal fin and tail. Observing them underwater turns out to be a fascinating experince. The chilly waters of BC are also brimming with other interesting sea life. This program is a terrific way to supplement your cruise experience. I know this will program will be repeated on WNJN this coming Sunday night at midnight (technically, Monday, but I mean the midnight that follows 11:30 pm on Sunday night).
