A really early morning ode to Cruise Critic

Recommended Posts

I'm sitting at work on overtime, Cruise Critic I'm perusing

For handy tips and great ideas so I enjoy my cruising

From Vancouver to old San Diego and all points inbetween

First time cruisers that is us, to places we've never been

Reflections dining room what do we wear? Tux or fur lined speedo?

It's cold I'm told and we should obey the formal fashion cr edo

So many things we must sort out, excursions for the picking

But time is short as you can see, my countdown clock is ticking

This overtime is such great fun, more dollars for the spending

I see the bar bill in my dreams with the headache that is pending

Maybe I should bring some booze aboard and hide it with my toothpaste

Then be summoned to the decks above to open up my suitcase

I know that I am not allowed to wear my diaper in the pool

But I hear Alaska in late September can be a little cool

So there you go, I've learned so much, Cruise Critic surely rocks

From tipping to the fashion board for guides on wearing Croc's

Its time to go, my bed awaits the computer must go blank

But for all the tips and great info it's Cruise Critic I thank

Pete:)

Just thought Id add my ode to RCCL:

I thought Id take a little time to share my cruise dilema,

We've never cruised and couldnt lose, it sounded like a winner.

We saw the price and thought it nice, a "deluxe Oceanview"

Room 6506 upon deck 6 so we booked the room with you.

We've paid our trip to board your ship and took a better look,

No balcony to see the sea just a window's all we booked.

I made a boob and didnt read, alas I now despair,

The price went up thats just our luck, no extra could we spare.

So everyday I check & hope & pray & look & see,

If you're feeling kind and feel inclined, please send the upgrade fairy to me.:)

And let me add my little dedication to CC:

Roses are red,

Violets are blue,

I love Cruise Critic,

But I can't rhyme.

OK, now STOP! LOLOL

And I love the fact that you are getting paid overtime to write it. Is your company hiring?

Kathy

Then again I am getting paid to write this and i don't have to work overtime - so nevermind.........
