Carnival offers active, reserve or retired members, or veterans of the U.S. military. Qualifying military personnel must present a photocopy of current military ID, retired military ID or discharge papers and a driver's license, at the time of booking.

It is not available on all sailings and a limited number of Military discounts are given per cruise.

In March we booked the Liberty for the 8/26/07 sailing. My father in law is a disabled veteran. We couldn't get a discount because CCL was not offering any discount for our sailing.

 

They may have been offering it at some point but only a certain percentage of cabins are designated for Military.

We booked in October for out July Liberty cruise, we got the discount, but our friend was unable to get the discount when she called a few months later. Summer cruises fill up fast.
