Disneyland to LA cruise terminal

What is the best way to get to the cruise terminal? Shuttle? Or is there a place in Anahaim to rent a car and drop off at the cruise terminal? We have the disneyland transport to Disneyland or use the disneytransport to long beach and get a cab to the terminal?

When you say Los Angeles people do not know if you mean Long Beach (Carnival) or San Pedro (everyone else). The two are only a few miles apart, but it does make a difference.

 

There is an Enterprise RAC office across the street from the San Pedro pier. However, what is the best way? Define "best". Fastest? Least expensive? Easiest?

Another factor is which day of the week. The Enterprise in San Pedro closes early on the weekends (maybe isn't open on Sunday).

 

Carnival leaves from Long Beach and the rest of the cruiselines leave from San Pedro.
