May be a bit off topic, but we will be on the Grand Princess 4/16/05 16 night Galveston-Rome. After spending about 3 days in Rome, we plan on renting a car and driving through Tuscany, with various overnight stops, on to Venice, and then fly out of Milan 12 days after we arrive in Rome. One of our Grand Princess stops will have been Livorno. We would have advance hotel reservations only in Rome and Milan. Can this be done... or are we crazy???
