Kayaking in Ketchikan...Recommendations?

Just booked the Golden Princess from Seattle at the end of August. We would like to kayak to get closer to wildlife. Has anyone taken one of the kayak tours out of Ketchikan? Any recommendations?

My husband and son went with Southeast (Southeastern?) and had a great time!

Yes, I have gone with Southeast Kayaks twice. But do NOT expect any wildlife, rare to be seen except birds and salmon, which can be seen all over Alaska.

We are taking the orca cove trip with southeast on june 17th I will post about it when we return. They were very good to deal with emails answered right away.
