Has anyone been on both Freedoms (Carnival and RCI)?

Torn between the Carnival Freedom or the Royal Caribean Freedom of the Seas.

 

Anyone with first hand knowledge on both? It's one or the other at this point (sailing next year) but we want to book now. Greatly appreciate any insites.

I strongly recommend you choose Freedom of the Seas. You'll thank me when you return home from your cruise. :)

Agreed. I cruised on Freedom of the Seas and toured the Carnival Liberty (sister ship). No comparison. Carnival doesn't have anything that can touch RCI's Freedom Class.

Looking at August cruises.... Balcony on C is $769 and balcony on R is $1399.
