Travel within Vancouver

How inconvenient is it if I stay nearer to the airport instead of downtown? What would a cab cost from the airport area to downtown? There are also places to stay in Richmond and Burnaby. How inconvenient are they? Is a car necessary? If I get one, what is parking like downtown? The fathest thing we hope to see Brouchard gardens.

Trust me -- stay in town. Theres nothing out at the airport or in the suburbs but the city of Vancouver is alive and has lots to do. The cost of going to and from an airport hotel would eat up the financial difference anyway. Try one of the bidding sites for your hotel space. There are also several low cost hotels in Vancouver. Once in a while you can latch onto a four star hotel in Vancouver for some very low prices. Enjoy your vacation and stay in town.

 

Bucharts Gardens are not around Vancouver. It is over on Vancouver Island, thats an all day trip and you have to get there by ferry.
