RCCL/Pullmantur acquires Carnival's Tropicale

I just read on another website that Carnival Corp. has sold the old M.S. Tropicale to RCCL for use in the Pullmantur lines. Anyone have any additional info?

 

We sailed on the Tropicale from New Orleans back in the 90's. It was our first balcony and we will never go back to anything less. It was a 15 year old ship then, and was in need of some refurbishments, I wonder what Carnival has done to the ship over the last 12 years.
