What's the farthest in advance you have book a cruise?

As of today, I am booked and fully deposited for

 

Carnival Victory 12/2/07

 

RCI Enchantment OTS 5/3/08

 

Carnival Freedom 11/30/08

and

RCI Adventure OTS 4/19/09

Two months ago I booked 4/9/09. I enjoy having my cruises booked!

To date, February for an October cruise. Basically, I'll book when I find a rate I can live with, whether or not it gets any better.

We have booked all three about 18 months in advance. We like to plan as much as possible, so that we can get as good of a deal on everything we will do. We have actually started planning our cruises about 24 months in advance.

8 months but not by choice, My sister is like your friend and thinks it is silly to book to far ahead. Now i am trying to tie her down to a booking date. She is debating me by two weeks. I am a true traveller, i would plan 5 years in advance if I could.

For us, we booked our December 07 cruise in September 2006. I think it worked out to be about 400 days out.:cool:

Yeah, Ilike to have lots of time to pay...our first cruise we booked 6 months in advance...but that still gave us plenty of time to pay since it was just DH and I, but taking the whole family, we booked 18 months before....:)
