Rare itsanita Posted June 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2007 This cabin looks like the balcony is a little bigger than the others. Is this true? Or does it have an obstructed view. We have a chance to change to this cabin but don't want to change to something that we will regret. Thanks for any help.
RLM77 Posted June 3, 2007 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2007 This cabin looks like the balcony is a little bigger than the others. Is this true? Or does it have an obstructed view. We have a chance to change to this cabin but don't want to change to something that we will regret. Thanks for any help. The balcony is at least double the size of a standard concierge class balcony and has a teak deck as a bonus. There is plenty of room for two chairs, two loungers, a large table and one or two smaller side tables. The view is not obstructed and you're back in suite country with the high rollers. Grab it, and enjoy!

MICHE99 Posted June 4, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 4, 2007 I had the sister to this cabin (#6136) booked and was thrilled. My only concern (and the reason I have changed) is that we may want to add a third person and there is only a love seat in this cabin. There is no convertible sofa bed. Other that that it is a fabulous location with an amazing balcony. Enjoy!!!
afghancrazy Posted June 4, 2007 #5 Share Posted June 4, 2007 We had that cabin for a Panama Canal crossing last November. Yes it is a great cabin and large balcony HOWEVER the balcony is uncovered. From the top decks you can see straight down to the balcony. Now if your cruise is a sunny one - no problem. If, like ours, you encounter rain and bad weather then we had to play cat and mouse with Housekeeping. We always brought the chair and lounger covers in over night and if the weather wasn't bright in the morning then we left them in the cabin. Housekeeping ALWAYS put the covers outside when they cleaned. This was so bad one day that after a storm we had to call Housekeeping to get the covers changed as they were so wet. Would we have that cabin again - you bet we would!!!! Enjoy! Next time we have one of the aft cabins with a covered balcony.
florisdekort Posted June 4, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 4, 2007 Chances are that the time it took you to post this topic, was just what somebody else needed to snatch this cabin :o 6135/6136 are the best CC cabins (apart from the aft CC cabins of course...). The balcony is twice the normal size, and the deck is teak. Best Regards, Floris
