Long Time Cruiser First Time on Princess

For some reason we have never cruised on a Princess Ship. We have done

Hal, Celebrity, RC, NCL, and Carnival. We are thinking of going on the Caribbean Princess in 2008 and will most likely book a balcony cabin.

Are there any balcony cabins that are better to book for this ship?

Also what do most passengers do the freestyle or standard dinner seating?

Thanks for any info

Lynn

We tried the anytime dining and enjoyed the experience. It was nice not being tied to an 8:30 seating. The balcony cabins on the Caribe deck have much larger balconies. Enjoy your cruise.

We have been on several Princess cruises, most recently the Emerald. We definitely prefer the any time dining. Never had to wait more than five minutes either for table for two or sharing. Most mid ship balacony staterooms are more than adequate.
