Help for passport problems

If true, travelers flying to Canada and Mexico will be given a reprieve on the passport requirement if they can prove that a passport has been applied for.

Yeah, I was excited when I first read that because I have a co-worker that really needs her passport. She is going back home to Jamaica in July. She applied back in February and is still waiting. However the waiver (if they do it) will only be for Canada and Mexico. It will not include the Caribbean. :( She was contacting our Congressman today...

 

IMHO opinion, if this big a mess has happened from them implementing the passports needed just for flying, I would be shocked if they go ahead and implement passports needed for land and sea next January. I don't think they'll be dug out from this current mess by then!:eek:

Well, I have read 2 different stories now. One says the Caribbean will be included, one says it isn't. Guess will have to wait til tomorrow to find out for sure! :rolleyes:
