budget queen, i believe that you had posted a walking tour of ketchikan on these posts but i have been unable to locate it. could you direct me to it? thank you

Pick up a walking tour map from the dock visitor center. From the dock, walk back to Creek Street. Pass by Whale park, nice totem. At Creek St. go up the funicular to the Fox hotel. Walk out the back - beautiful totems. Return back down the Married Man's trail. To Park. turn right. Follow the stream, to the salmon ladder, if running. On the right - walk up to the entrance to Totem Heritage Museum and Hatchery. Stop in if of interest.

 

Continue through the city park. Make a right on Deermont, residential area, go to end, make a right, return to Creek St.

 

The Green building ahead, on the right is Dolly's House- fun cheap tour- check out the shower curtain. :)

Hi Budget Queen-

About how long does the walking tour take? We're on the Diamond, I think we leave port at 2 and are doing a kayak trip in the morning.
