bobnsandi Posted June 8, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 8, 2007 We have been assigned cabin 6026 for a future cruise aboard the Tahitian Princess. According to the deck plan, this is right above the deck 5 nightclub. How much nightclub noise will we experience? Thanks for replies.

cgoingmom Posted June 8, 2007 #3 Share Posted June 8, 2007 My daughter and I had 6026 two years ago. It was extreamly quiet. The only noise we heard was when they delivered the luggage. We thougut the location was great. Enjoy your cruise.
dak Posted June 8, 2007 #4 Share Posted June 8, 2007 We had 6026 in March 2005. Can't fault it. However, there was a terrible noise during the night, but that was just She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed snoring. I don't suppose that will affect you. ;) Would like to book again:) Can you fit me into your luggage?:D Enjoy Polynesia...... We did. sprinkles Posted June 9, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 9, 2007 We had 6026 two years ago and loved it. We never heard anything and it was always very close to the gangway. Have a great time. Tammy
bobnsandi Posted June 9, 2007 Author #7 Share Posted June 9, 2007 Thanks for the quick and helpful replies. We are booked on the Tahitian for the around-the-world in 2009. Looks like our cabin location will not be an issue.
sprinkles Posted June 10, 2007 #8 Share Posted June 10, 2007 Hummm - Just thought of something. It didn't really bother us for just a 10 night Tahiti, but that is a connecting cabin. We did not have a couch (as shown in Princess photos), we only had a chair, presumably so that the connecting door could be opened. That may be an issue for you for a world cruise. Have a great time! Tammy Thanks for bringing this up. Fortunately, our TA was able to move us to slightly astern of the middle, and into a more typical cabin. Apparently, there was a rush to grab cabins, and our original number noted in this post, was all there was available. Now, there must have been some cancellations, so we were able to move. Yes, we are excited about 2009, but we have other cruises to take before we get there. Thanks for all the help, you CC'ers are the best!
