Balconys

I have read about the balconys on the Diamond Princess. They say that some have no roofs and some have only part roofs. Has anyone sailed on the Diamond and can explain this? I am booked on the Diamond and would like to know how the Balconys are on the Baja deck.

Thanks

Hi we were on Sapphire(sister ship-exactly the same) I believe the balconys on Baja deck are fully covered, beneith you is Caribe-they are 1/2 covered and Dolphin Deck(all mini suites) all fully uncovered. Being on Baja I beilieve you will have totally privacy. Have fun, she's a beautiful ship. Liz

Liz is correct :) The coverage varies by deck. Lido, Riviera, Aloha and Baja are all fully covered. Caribe is half covered, half open (though larger than the balconies above). Dolphin mini-suites are fully open.
